I just have to let you know how much I LOVE the pin you designed!!  It was even nicer in person than I imagined.  I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box.  The packaging was awesome too!  I wrote out cards for my friends & simply placed the bag with the pin inside of the card.  My friends were all thrilled with the pins. 

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me thank my friends in a very special way.  You are one talented lady!!

This past labor Day my husband and I were coming back from a San Francisco trip visiting my very ill brother. That same day, our son was leaving from the LA area for his 2nd volunteer tour in Iraq. A lovely stewardess on our last leg of the trip noticed that I was wearing a "My son is a Marine' pin.  I wear this every day he's in a war zone. We spoke - her daughter had served 2 tours in Iraq - about our pride, our fear etc. When we deplaned in Philadelphia, she reached up and removed her Carla's Angel pin indicating she is a Blue Star Mother and pinned it on me. We cried and hugged and I promised to wear it until my son came home and I would then pass it on to another mother at my earliest opportunity.

I have read a lot of the stories regarding the Angel Pins and they seem so sad, HOWEVER, I just wanted to tell you that my friend who I told you about that lost his eyesight a few months ago, believe it or not, he has the Angel pinned on the back of the chair where he sits most of the day and evening. When I went to his house on Tuesday, this week, he said to me-who is it- and I replied, its your girlfriend, just a joke between us...Then out of the clear blue sky he said to me--I love the red top and white shorts you are wearing today....YES, his vision is starting to return, in only one eye as yet, BUT, at least this very active man, will be able to get around his home now without bumping into everything.  I was so overwhelmed when I heard him describe my clothing that I ran to him and kissed him and hugged him and after I left the house that morning...I cried and I said a prayer of thanks.  I just wanted you to know about this truly wonderful experience and I thank you very much for the Angel Pin.    Arlyne

I received the four pins yesterday and was impressed with the design and detail of your work.

Thank you so much for naming the beautiful angel after our beloved daughter.  Our hearts are so broken but even an angel named after KANDA MICHELLE helps in the healing process.

Jennifer's angel pin is more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Thank you, Thank you, It was perfect timing, with mother's day and another year without my precious Jen. So what better gift I could get, a special angel in Jennifer's memory and  to wear my special angel  where ever I go. Although Jennifer is very much alive in my heart and in everything I do, it's still nice to show her off to everyone I meet. The babies angel's are beautiful too and Carmie's angel is perfect, my mother just loved it. You are a special angel yourself.

Hey, don't rush Carla.  She has done enough rushing around for me.  I was just being little too overexcited.  Really, I can wait to get them when I come home.  lol.  You just tell her that I have looked at these angels that she sent already probably 100 times.  I have them laying up (away from my son) in my office.  They are visible to me and I just walk over to them and admire them.  She really does do beautiful work.  I know I have told you that a million times already.  lol.

Oh my goodness.  Now, I looked at the pin for my girlfriend with the twins and was totally happy with the way it turned out and it is gorgeous, but this pin absolutely brought tears to my eyes.  It is so beautiful.  How different it looks to me with my meaning in the pin than when I looked at it on line.  Of course it was beautiful, but it did not move me the way it just did when I looked at it.  Carla truly has a gift.  I also love the choice of the halo. 

 
We received Megan’s pins in the mail over the weekend.  They are really nice and we couldn’t be happier.   Megan will be so excited and happy when I show her the pin and tell her it was designed for her.

I have to tell you that I went to a Compassionate Friends meeting last night, it was a memorial balloon liftoff for our children and one of the ladies "was BOUNCING off the walls"!!!  I heard your daughter, Carla, is also designing pins and one of our moms won her June Nurse pin - Julie died from an asthma attack and her mom as been so heart broken.  She OFTEN speaks of the pins I wear (all yours) and I gave her your web site and now she won JULIE!!  Tell Carla she has no idea how happy she has made Carol!  Yet another blessing to you both!
