At my church, First Baptist Church of
Haughton, we have a WONDERFUL women's ministry and a life-saver program called
Heart to Home. It is where the older and much wiser women of the church mentor
the younger women of the church. They teach us what the Lord says on how to be
better wives and mothers. There are 4-6 Heart Moms in each group of about 4-8
Heart Sisters. We meet once a month at a different Heart Mom's home where they
prepare a meal and cater and pamper us the Heart Sister's...For one night of
every month, I, a Heart Sister am taken care of instead of having to take care
of everyone else. We have Bible Study, Prayer, share our thoughts, concerns and
worries without being judged. Everything at this Bible Study is kept in
confidence. No cell phones are allowed and most importantly no gossip. It is
one night of every month for all the young Mom's to refuel and re-energize. It
has been a BLESSING in my life and in so many others also. We have found deep
respect, love, and admiration for our Heart Moms, so much so that the Heart
Sisters are putting on a "Thank You Banquet" for our Heart Mom's. This is a
surprise to them to show them how much we appreciate the time and dedication
that they have put into it for us. We are cooking dinner for them and we want
to give our group of Heart Mom's a SPECIAL gift. I immediately thought of your
angels. I know how much I enjoy my "Craig pin" so I wanted them to have
something that every time the see in their jewelry box or wear it they think of
the Heart Sisters and how much we appreciate them and love them. I was hoping
you could design us a special pin.
