This
Angel was designed by request of a custom design.
First let me say your
angels are beautiful! My sister lost her baby in October and I’ve been
searching for an appropriate angel charm ever since (without luck). I stumbled
upon your site today and fell in love with all your angel girls. I am
interested in customizing an angel for my sister that really symbolizes her
loss. I have a few ideas in mind although am completely open to your expert
guidance. My sister, Meghan, experienced two, first-trimester miscarriages
within 6 months of each other. She went through the extreme throws of
depression and finally started healing and got pregnant again about a year
later. This baby was to be the first in our very close-knit family and had
captured our hearts early on. We had all booked tickets to be with Meghan (she
lives in Gilbert, Arizona, my parents and I are in Salt Lake City, Utah) for
her 20 week appointment to find out the sex of the baby. Sadly, three days
before this appointment, my sister miscarried a baby girl to be named Hazel
Mae.
My sister finds enormous
strength in knowing Hazel Mae is in heaven watching over and guiding our
family, and I’d love for her to have an angel pin that really symbolizes her
baby girl. This little girl was to have been the oldest grandchild and the
princess of the family and I love your Angel Kathleen body style/crown/heart
to symbolize this. Meghan has been obsessed with gold angel wing jewelry
and I’m hoping it would be possible to add gold angel wings to Angel Kathleen
instead of the silver ones in the picture. I also like the idea of adding
Hazel Mae’s birthstones… which would be October (opal/tourmaline) for when she
was actually born and February (amethyst) for when she was supposed to have
been born… somewhere on the angel, so maybe on the crown or elsewhere. Last,
growing up my mom always used the phrase “I love you to the stars” and I’m
hoping to add a little gold star to this angel either on her skirt or attached
as the purse is to Angel Kathleen to symbolize this.
