I asked this question on Social Media this week and I got a tremendous response. When I put that question out there, I wasn’t sure which way it would go, but I needed to know what people would say off the top of their head. Here are some of the responses . . .

The reason I wanted to know “What makes you feel comfortable” is because I want to add some categories to this blog for your enjoyment, and from this list I’ve come up with some ideas. I can’t really provide you with a hot tub, or a swimming pool, or family and friends for that matter. But, what I can do is give you ideas for decorating your home, recipes (that include chocolate of course), share some of my favorite music and books – and, as always, ideas about how to share your faith.
What’s my “go to” when I’m feeling uncomfortable and just need that standby “comfort” feeling? Well it certainly isn’t exercise for me… (sorry CB, just not my cup of tea) No, when I’m upset about something, what brings me comfort is soaking in a hot bath with my favorite beverage, listening to music, reading a book and nibbling on chocolate, of course.
For a good soaking bath, to wash all my worries away, I add a few ingredients to the water.
These ingredients are the combination of several different detox baths, but I have found this combination to be the ultimate in relaxation. Easy on the Ginger, though, it will raise your heart rate a bit.
