Best Friends Forever features two angels, one is silver, the other is gold.  The rainbow effect is a scanner issue, it is not really there.  These boys were inseparable in life, we know they are spending eternity together, watching over their family and friends.  The base has room for charms, if you need to switch them out, just e-mail me and let me know what charms you need.  Also, the hearts are engraveable, so, please let me know how you want them engraved in the comments section of the order form, otherwise they will be shipped blank.

 JR and Kyle Angel Pin

This angel was a custom design, requested by a J.R.'s Mom.

J.R. was 18 when he passed away and had a stepson who was 4 months old and a daughter on the way (born 5 months to the day after J.R. was killed).  He wanted to go to work and make money to support his family.  I did not understand this until after he died and my therapist said his top priority at the time was his family and there wasn’t anything wrong with that. 

J.R. loved working on his car (never finished it before he died) and spending time with his best friend Kyle (who was also killed in the wreck) and with Dallen (his stepson).  J.R. made a wonderful dad and I know that if he were around when his daughter was born he would have loved her to death and she would have been the light of his life.  J.R. loved wildlife, camping and NASCAR (Dale E. fan).  He was also into watching football and baseball with his dad but his car and kids were top priority.

As I sit here and read what I wrote, I decided that I would like a double angel to reflect J.R. and Kyle who although they did not die together, they both died as a result of the same crash.  Kyle died – we believe – instantly and J.R. died the following morning after surgery.  I think it would mean a lot to all who knew J.R. and Kyle to have them both together in the angel pin as they were inseparable in life.
