This angel was one of our Name the angel contests.

Nelda was my great aunt by marriage. Twenty years ago, when my mother passed away, I moved about a mile from my Aunt Nelda.

We became very close and when it was time for me to get married, she did all of the things my mom would have helped me with. She was there for me when others weren’t after my Mom died. She treated my husband, my children and myself as her own. She passed away Monday. I will be driving to TX to her funeral this weekend.

I would love to have an angel named for her and this one is so perfect as she loved animals of all kinds and always had a kitty.
