Serendipity Angel

This angel was a winner of
the "Name the Angel" contest.
I believe she
should be called "Serendipity" because she is so pretty and I love that
word; it is just one of those magical words in every sense.
In the dictionary,
'serendipity' is defined as follows: the faculty of making fortunate
discoveries of things you were not looking for (Dictionary.com).
I don't believe
in 'coincidence' as I truly think ALL things happen for a reason in life.
My experiences alone as a single WAHM have proven this true more
than once. Every time I thought life couldn't be worse, serendipity
would take over. I would meet someone totally unexpected or be in
the right place at the right time or happen to travel someplace unplanned.
Let me tell you, when serendipity rules, life not only improves but it
becomes better than it ever was!
I believe in
a Higher Power and it comes to us in only one of two ways. The first,
of course, in the form of our conscience and the second is serendipitously.
Fortunately, serendipity is all around us. Unfortunately, most pass
it off as 'coincidence' or 'just one of those things' and never truly appreciate
what has happened to them in that one moment in their lives.
Life is unscripted
and definitely unpredictable. September 11th opened the entire world's
eyes to that fact in one unforgettable moment in history. Ask anyone
you know about how they met their spouse/mate or got that great job or
happened to be driving through an 'off the beaten path' neighborhood when
they saw their dream house. If it weren't for serendipity, how many
things in our lives would be different right now?
