Savana Angel Pin
This angel was a custom design,
requested by Savana's Mom.
This angel pin was
designed in memory of our daughter, Savana Alexis. After four miscarriages and
five years of infertility, God blessed us with this precious Angel. Savana was
born at 23 weeks premature. She was truly a Miracle. She weighed only 1 pound,
8 ounces and was 12 ½ inches long. Although Savana’s life on earth was just
seven and one half weeks, she will forever live within our hearts. She touched
more lives during those two months than some do in a much longer lifetime.
Despite her size, everyone that came in contact with her commented on her
strength and feistiness. Although the pain of losing her will never go away, I
wouldn’t take anything for the joy she brought while she was here. God loans us
our children for a brief time on earth compared to the eternity we will spend
with them in heaven.
Her name is engraved in the heart not only so
she will be honored and remembered but also to signify that Savana is a little
angel up above watching over her nurses, friends, and family who love her so
dearly.
