KANDA MICHELLE ANGEL (Drowned while
bathing due to a seizure)
This angel was designed in memory of
KANDA MICHELLE JACOBS
(5-24-73 --- 4-13-04)
The gorgeous dark pink roses around her
crown and the butterfly on her wing represent the beauty Kanda could see on this
earth. As was her nature, Kanda allowed a bumble bee to live in a hanging
flower pot during the spring, summer and fall of 2003, and now the bee proudly
lives within the roses on our angel's crown. Because she was especially proud
of her home town, the orange, blue and white school colors symbolize her school
spirit and her six years as a cheerleader beginning in her seventh grade year
and continuing through her Senior year of high school. During football and
basketball seasons, THE FLORA HIGH SCHOOL BAND, led by their popular band
director, rocked the house by entertaining the audience with a variety of music
from the forties to the nineties. Playing the flute and marching as a member of
the school band was a dream come true for Kanda. Knowing this, it is
appropriate that musical notes adorn the front of Kanda Angel's dress.
Appropriately worn by Chelsea, her spaniel, is the blue hat representing
Kanda's denim blue jeans. The red band around the hat signifies her Coca Cola
lotion and clothing , along with the Coca Cola theme running through the rooms
of her cozy home. Kanda's two house cats, Dandy and Zipper, sit at Chelsea's
feet, proudly displaying their black and red collars coordinating with the
colors of her Coca Cola collection. Her name, "KANDA", is engraved in the
heart along with her birthstone for the month of May. Even though her life was
cut short and she is so sadly missed by family and many friends, we have the
comfort of knowing that Kanda lived life to the fullest each and every day and
we were so blessed to have had her with us for almost 31 years.
