Delores Angel Pin

This Angel was a winner of the August "Name the Angel Contest".

The angel in the contest truly touched my heart.  It reminds me of my sweet sister, Delores.  She passed away last year of cancer.

When I saw the angel I felt it truly represented Delores' spirit...she had such a "big" heart...she could make anyone smile with her loving kindness.  She touched so many lives & everyone that knew her loved her so much.  Delores was deaf, but you never felt as if she was handicapped because she didn't look at herself or other deaf people as being handicapped.   She dedicated her life to the Lord & to the deaf community.  When she smiled it made the world a much brighter place....you could see that "big" happy heart smiling & radiating joy to everyone around her.   When I think of her in heaven I see her as one of the Lord's special angels...making heaven an even more beautiful place.
