Cole Angel Pin
Angel Pin with Fire Engine
This angel was a custom design,
requested by Cole's Parents.
This is hard, but
last week my wife and I lost our son during delivery (10/5). His name was
Nicolas Allen Carter, we are calling him "Cole" for short. His nursery theme
was a cowboy theme. His grandmas and great aunt made everything for the room.
He is also getting his first ride on a fire engine tomorrow to the cemetery. I
have been a volunteer firefighter for over 9 years now and they offered to use
the fire engine for the trip, I was speechless. I don't know if there is
something that symbolizes how much he has touched so many different people.
The
service was amazing, my son got several teddy bears to go with him.
The Pastor said at the service that on October 5th
plans that we had for Cole had changed. Even though my son isn't here with me,
he will forever be in my heart. He gave me a completely different outlook on
life.
