The  Christopher Angel Pin has his name engraved on a gold heart with his birthstone below his name.  His wings remind me of a child with a blanket, playing like a super hero.  Christopher loved baseball and is wearing a baseball cap.  He also loved to read, especially stories about dinosaurs. There is a small silver dinosaur at the base of this design.

Boy Angel with toy dinosaur

This angel was a custom design, requested by dear friends of Christopher's family.

I would like to have an angel designed and named after Christopher for his parents.  This really means very much to me as I was the only one with them in the hospital when they were given the news of their child. I have not slept a single night since.  In some way, although I will never understand the full pain that the parents are feeling, I do feel that I am sharing it with them.  Thank you so much for what you do to comfort all parents for the loss of their children.

Christopher's obituary was written by his parents and printed in News Day.  Following is an excerpt from that article . . .

This past December, a very special little boy agreed to forgo the usual material gifts at his 5th birthday party. Instead, with the guidance of his parents, Christopher opted to help the Tsunami victims by asking each child to contribute a donation to the Save the Children South Asia Relief Fund. Christopher didn't have a table laden with brightly wrapped presents when he celebrated his special day with friends, but he did have a heart filled with joy at having helped those less fortunate than himself. Near and far, Christopher touched all those around him.
