This lovely angel pin features
outstretched wings of gold and a lovely flowing gown. Her heart of gold is
engraved with her name. Her halo and skirt are both done in her
birthstone. In the comments section of the order form, please be sure to

Birthstone Angel Pin
Kristin Angel Pin
This angel was a custom design,
requested by Kristin's Dad.
Kristin was born May 1st 2008. A
beautiful baby girl with fine blue eyes. Adding her birth stone to this angle
and making a lapel pin is a good way to remember her. For on May 6th, she
died of complications during intensive care.
A condition known as "Hydrops Fetalis"
interferes with correct lung function and the child reverts to pre-birth blood
flows. Treating this can involve a considerable urgent treatments beyond
breathing support. A process called Ecmo provides artificial heart and lung
support but requires blood thinners to protect against clots. In our case,
unchecked bleeding in the brain was killing her.
We were fortunate to know her death
was imminent and to spend time with her. I was able to sing her many of the
songs of grace and lullabies as I did for all my other children. Then, she
died in our arms.
Male jewelry in memory of Kristin is
