My 18 year old daughter, Allie was a beautiful girl with curly brown hair and big brown eyes. She loved sunrises on the beach, hanging out with her many friends, going shopping and to the movies, and laughing until her sides hurt.  She was funny, compassionate, and brought joy to the lives of many.  Her friends affectionately called her "Jackie Chan" because she was a black belt and two time world champion in Tae Kwon Do.  Allie was looking forward to prom, Grad Night, and her high school graduation.  On the morning of April 9, 2005 she went to breakfast with a friend and on her way home she was killed in a car accident just a few miles from home. She touched the lives and was loved by so many people. Rather than a funeral, we had a "Celebration of her Life".  Nearly 700 friends and family attended. I like to think of her as my angel.  Her love surrounds me everyday.  Allie was a shining star that burned brightly.  She went out on top loving life.  As she would say, "it's all good mom" and "it's all about love"!
