Abigail Rose Angel Pin
Angel Lapel Pin
This angel lapel pin was
a custom design, requested by Abigail Rose's Mom.
Daughter to Gary L. and Maria D. Jarvis
Sister to

Zachary Rainwater
After almost 7 years of being together through ups and downs Gary and I found
out that I was pregnant and started our journey of starting our family
together, that was in Feb. 2005. On May 18th we had our first ultrasound and
found that our baby girl (we didn’t know it was a girl at that time, Gary knew
but didn’t tell me until the following morning) had some abnormalities and my
OB referred me to a specialist and we were prompted to have an amniocentesis.
Gary and I went home devastated. The best thing that happen that day was when
I heard Gary say to me, “We have to give her a chance to live.” Those words
will forever be stamped in my heart. On Monday the 27th I got a call from the
genetics counselor giving me the news of our baby girl. We continued the
pregnancy, we were determined to continue on for as long as Gods plan was.
From the beginning of our diagnosis I had left Abigail's life in Gods hands.
Abigail Rose arrived October 8th, 2005 at 2:37 pm. she weighed 4 lbs. 12
ounces and was with us for 5 wonderful weeks. She passed away in her father's
arms on November 12, 2005. Abigail Rose was a true blessing from God and was
sent to us with a mission which she accomplished to the end of her time with
us. She brought joy, love, and support to her daddy and I and most
importantly she brought new meaning to how we live our lives. She touched
family and friends in ways unimaginable. She was our "miracle baby" as
everyone called her. My sweet Abigail Rose you are always loved, missed and
will always be remembered.
